शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications):
Deputy Director: Degree from a recognized university or equivalent and 5 years' अनुभव in Administration/ Establishment and related matters.

Assistant Professor: Bachelor Degree in Agricultural/Civil Engineering with Master Degree in Water Resource Engineering/Water Resource Development/Irrigation Water Management/Watershed Management/Hydrology/Soil & Water Conservation or equivalent Master Degree in Water Sector with consistently good academic record and minimum 55% marks throughout.

Assistant Library & Information Officer: Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science of a recognised University/ Institute.

Level-11 Per Month

आयु सीमा (Age Limit): Maximum 56 Years.

उत्तर पूर्वी क्षेत्रीय जल संस्थान और जल प्रबंधन की स्थापना 23 दिसंबर 1989 को भारत सरकार के गृह मंत्रालय (अब उत्तर पूर्व क्षेत्र के विकास विभाग) के तहत उत्तर पूर्वी परिषद, गृह मंत्रालय के तत्वावधान में एक पंजीकृत समाज के रूप में की गई थी। 1 अप्रैल, 2012 को MoWR, RD और GR और NEC के बीच स्थानांतरण का एक समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए थे और वर्तमान में NERIWALM जल संसाधन, नदी विकास और गंगा कायाकल्प, सरकार के अधीन है। भारत की।

यह अपने विशिष्ट अनुशासनात्मक प्रभागों के माध्यम से स्थानीय विशिष्ट और समस्या उन्मुख प्रौद्योगिकियों को उत्पन्न करने की दिशा में काम करता है और उत्तर पूर्वी क्षेत्र के सभी राज्यों अर्थात् असम, अरुणाचल प्रदेश, मणिपुर, मिजोरम, मेहगालया, नागालैंड, सिक्किम और त्रिपुरा की आवश्यकता को पूरा करता है। संस्थान ने जल संसाधन प्रबंधन, फसल-मिट्टी पोषक तत्व प्रबंधन, वाटरशेड प्रबंधन, जल और भूमि संसाधनों की मैपिंग, कमांड क्षेत्र विकास, सिंचाई और संबद्ध क्षेत्रों के विभिन्न पहलुओं में सराहनीय प्रगति की। लोगों को प्रशिक्षित करने के लिए संस्थान ने प्रशिक्षण, कार्यशालाओं के रूप में प्रसार कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए और संगोष्ठियों और परामर्श बैठकों का आयोजन करके ज्ञान को समृद्ध किया। अपनी स्थापना के बाद से संस्थान ताकत से ताकत तक बढ़ा है और जल संसाधन, नदी विकास और गंगा कायाकल्प का विश्वास हासिल किया है। संस्थान हमारे जानकार गुरुओं द्वारा निर्देशित अधिक गतिविधियों के साथ आगे बढ़ने की इच्छा रखता है।
