शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications):
Professor: A First Class Master’s degree in Physics with at least 15 years research अनुभव in Geomagnetism and allied fields. Preference will be given to those who have Doctorate degree.

Reader: A First Class Master’s degree in Meteorology/Atmospheric & Environmental Science AND A Doctorate degree with 2 years अनुभव of post-doctoral research in above and allied fields.

Fellow: A First Class Master’s degree in Geophysics /Computer Science/Data Science Desirable : Preference will be given to those having Data handling and associated software.

Senior Hindi Translator: Master's degree of a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; OR Master’s degree of a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; OR Master’s Degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of a examination at the degree level; OR Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of a examination at the degree level; OR Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level; AND Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or three years’ अनुभव of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in a Central or State Government office, including Government of India Undertaking.

Superintendent: Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Science or Commerce with 5 years’ अनुभव in the lower grade or equivalent in similar capacity in administration and related work in a Govt. / Semi Govt./ Public Sector undertaking / Private Sector of repute.

Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Science or Commerce with 3 years’ अनुभव as UDC or equivalent post in a Govt. / Semi Govt. / Public Sector undertaking/ Private Sector of repute.

Upper Division Clerk (UDC): Bachelors Degree in Arts, Science or Commerce.

Stenographer: i) 12th class pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University ii) Skill Test Norms : Dictation : 10 minutes@80 w.p.m. Transcription : 50 minutes (Eng.) on Computer.

Lower Division Clerk (LDC): Matriculation or equivalent qualification. Knowledge of computer operation and a minimum typing speed of 30 w.p.m. in English/Hindi. Typing test will be conducted on computer.

Level-2 to Level-13 Per Month

आयु सीमा (Age Limit): Maximum 45 Years.

Application Fee: Fee payable for all the posts is Rs. 500/-. The mode of fee payment is available at application portal. Application fee (non-refundable) should be paid through online mode. Payments of fee from any other mode shall not be entertained. No fee will be charged from female/ SC/ST/PWD candidates.

चयन प्रकिया: अभ्यर्थी का चयन लिखित परीक्षा एवं साक्षात्कार में उनके प्रदर्शन के आधार पर किया जाएगा।

1. The candidate may visit the URL https://iigm.res.in/careers/positionvacancies. Click on Apply link, which will be redirected to Applicant Portal.

2. The candidate may Register by clicking on Register User button for login credentials. For registration the candidate must have a valid email id, which will be used for generating /informing OTP.

3. After the above process, candidate can Login & apply for the suitable posts.

The hardcopy of application along with self-attested copies of all relevant document be sent by Speed Post so as to reach ‘Registrar’, IIG, Plot No. 5, Sector 18, Kalamboli Highway, New Panvel, Navi Mumbai 410 218 on or before 22.08.2022, superscripted by “ Application for the post of..........(Post no............)
