शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications):
Level-2: Passed 12th or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate. 50% marks are not required in case of SC / ST / Exservicemen/Persons With Disabilities (PWD) candidates and for the candidates of any category possessing higher qualifications i.e. Graduate, Post Graduate from a recognised University.

Level-1: 10th passed OR ITI OR equivalent OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT OR 10th passed plus ITI OR10th passed plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.

INR
18000-63200/- Per Month

आयु सीमा (Age Limit): Maximum 33 Years.

Selection Procedure: please refer to official notification.

Application Fee:
For all candidates except those mentioned in sub-para (ii) below: Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred Only) with a provision for refunding Rs. 400/- to those who are found eligible as per notification and actually appear in the Written Test (after deducting bank charges).

For candidates belonging to SC / ST / Ex-Servicemen / Persons with Disability (40% & above) / Women / minorities* and Economically Backward Class**: Rs.250/- (Rupees Two Hundred Fifty Only) with a provision for refunding the same to those who are found eligible as per notification and actually appear in the Written Test (after deducting bank charges).

पश्चिम रेलवे को अपना वर्तमान स्वरूप 5 नवम्बर, 1951 को दिया गया जब पूर्ववर्ती तत्कालीन बम्बई, बडोदा और सेन्ट्रल इंडिया रेलवे को अन्य रियासती रेलों यथा सौराष्ट्र राजस्थान और जयपुर के साथ मिलाया गया। स्वयं बीबी एंड सीआई रेलवे वर्ष 1855 में उस समय आरम्भ हुई, जब पश्चिमी तट पर गुजरात राज्य में अंकलेश्वर से उत्राण तक 29 मील लम्बे बड़ी लाइन रेल पथ का निर्माण किया गया। वर्ष 1864 में इस रेल मार्ग को मुंबई तक विस्तारित किया गया।

पश्चिम रेलवे पूरे गुजरात राज्य के अलावा राजस्थान और मध्य प्रदेश के कुछ हिस्सों को सेवित करती है। पश्चिम रेलवे के वर्तमान में छः मंडल हैं- मुंबई, वडोदरा, अहमदाबाद, रतलाम, राजकोट और भावनगर।
