तमिलनाडु मर्केंटाइल बैंक लिमिटेड., one of the leading old Private Sector Banks, on a high growth path, having total business of around Rs.78,000 crore invites applications from dynamic and result oriented individuals for the post of Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer 1. Position: Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer 2. The Candidate should a. Be serving or have retired in Chief General Manager / General Manager cadre or above in any Commercial Bank with at least two year exposure at that level and one year exposure at Board level b. Have proven expertise in all commercial banking activities encompassing Treasury / Forex and including extended ones like Insurance, Mutual Funds, etc c. Have exposure to all contemporary banking practices relating to Credit Management, Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance, Information Technology, Digital Banking, Productivity and Profitability, HRM and CRM d. Have excellent communication skills and proven leadership qualities to lead a team of talented people to take the bank to greater heights 3. Remuneration will not be a constraint for the right candidate

Selection Procedure

तमिलनाडु मर्केंटाइल बैंक की स्थापना 1921 में नादर बैंक के रूप में हुई थी, और नवंबर 1962 में इसका नाम बदलकर तमिलनाडु मर्केंटाइल बैंक कर दिया गया। 1947 तक बैंक की केवल चार शाखाएँ थीं: तूतीकोरिन, विरुधुनगर, मदुरै और शिवकाशी। बैंक सोसाइटी फॉर वर्ल्डवाइड इंटरबैंक फाइनेंशियल टेलीकम्युनिकेशन (स्विफ्ट) का सदस्य बन गया है। टीएमबी ने 1025 का प्रभावी शाखा नेटवर्क देने के लिए एचडीएफसी बैंक (531 स्थानों) और आईडीबीआई बैंक (136 स्थानों) के साथ करार किया है। 9 दिसंबर 1984 को डब्ल्यूजीसी रोड, तूतीकोरिन में पहली नई पूरी तरह से कम्प्यूटरीकृत शाखा खोली गई। बैंक ने अपनी पहली मुद्रा स्थापित की थी। 1993 में मदुरै में छाती और कोयंबटूर, चेन्नई और सिकंदराबाद में औद्योगिक वित्त शाखाएँ हैं। बैंक ने 11 नवंबर 2003 को अपना एटीएम कार्ड लॉन्च किया। टीएमबी को सिंगापुर, कोलंबो और मलेशिया में एक अनिर्दिष्ट स्थान में शाखाएं स्थापित करने के लिए भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक की मंजूरी भी मिली है।
