शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications): Dean: i. An eminent scholar having a Ph.D. Degree in the
concerned/allied/relevant discipline and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work, with a minimum of 10 research publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of 120 as per the criteria given in appendix – II. Table – 2 of Government Resolution No. Misc-2018/C.R.- 56/18/UNI-I DATED 08.03.2019.
ii. A minimum of fifteen years of teaching अनुभव in university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/ Professor, and/or research अनुभव at equivalent level at the University/National level Institutions with evidence of giving successfully guided doctoral candidate.
Director, Sports and Physical Education: (a) A Ph.D. in Physical Education or Physical Education and Sports or Sports Science; (b) अनुभव of at least ten years in Physical Education and Sports as University Assistant/Deputy DPES or ten years as College DPES or teaching for ten years in Physical Education and Sports or Sports Science as Assistant/Associate Professor;
Director, Board of Examinations and Evaluation: A master’s Degree with at least 55% marks of any statutory University or its equivalent grade of B in U.G.C. 7 Point scale.At least 15 years of अनुभव as Lecturer (Senior Scale) /Lecturer with 8 years of अनुभव in Reader’s/Associate Professor’s Grade alongwith अनुभव in educational administration, commensurate with the revised pay scale & designation of the U.G.C.

एसएनडीटी महिला विश्वविद्यालय भारत के साथ-साथ दक्षिण-पूर्व एशिया में पहला महिला विश्वविद्यालय है। विश्वविद्यालय की स्थापना महर्षि डॉ। धोंडो केशव कर्वे ने 1916 में महिला शिक्षा के एक महान कारण के लिए की थी। पहली पांच महिलाओं ने 1921 में इस विश्वविद्यालय से स्नातक की उपाधि प्राप्त की। विश्वविद्यालय का मुख्यालय चर्चगेट परिसर, मुंबई में है और इस विश्वविद्यालय के अन्य दो परिसर जुहू, मुंबई और कर्वे रोड, पुणे में हैं।
