शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications):
Additional Director (Financial Transactions): Chartered Accountant or Cost and Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Chartered Financial Analyst or Master of Business Administration or Master in Business Economics or Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Finance) from a recognized university or institute.

Joint Director (Capital Market): Chartered Accountant or Company Secretary or Chartered Financial Analyst or Cost and Management Account or Master of Business Administration (Finance) or Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Finance) from a recognized university or institute.

Joint Director (Investigation):
(i) Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university; and
(ii) ten years अनुभव in the field of enforcement of economic laws offences and collection of intelligence thereto.

Deputy Director (Corporate Law):
(i) Degree in any discipline and Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from any recognized university with two years अनुभव in the field of Corporate Law; or
(ii) Five years’ Integrated bachelor’s degree in Law with three years अनुभव in the field of Corporate Law.

Deputy Director (Forensic Audit): Chartered Accountant or Cost and Management Accountant, or Company Secretary, or Chartered Financial Analyst, or Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Finance), or Masters of Business Administration (Finance), or Masters of Business Economics, or Master in Commerce or Bachelor’s in Law.

Deputy Director (Investigation): Degree from a recognized University or Institution.

Senior Assistant Director (Forensic Audit): Chartered Accountant, or Cost and Management Accountant, or Company Secretary, or Chartered Financial Analyst, or Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Finance), or Masters in Business Administration (Finance), or Masters of Business Economics, or Master in Commerce or Bachelor’s in Law.

Senior Prosecutor: Graduate in any discipline plus bachelor’s degree in Law plus two years अनुभव in handling litigation & court matters/administration of Law in a Government organization.

Assistant Director (Investigation): Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University.

The Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) is a statutory corporate fraud investigating agency in India. Initially, it was set up by a resolution adopted by the Government of India on 2 July 2003 and carried out investigations within the existing legal framework under section 235 to 247 of the erstwhile Companies Act, 1956. Later, Section 211 of the Companies Act, 2013, accorded the statutory status to the Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO). It is under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India & primarily supervised by officers from Indian Administrative Service, Indian Police Service, Indian Revenue Service, and other Central Services. The organization has experts from various financial sector domains. The SFIO is mandated to conduct Multi-disciplinary investigations of major corporate frauds.
