Skills / Eligibility

OMC intends to fill up the following posts on regular basis through Walk-in-interview process.

1. Name of the Post: Mining Mate-III

2. No of Post: 50

3. Scale of Pay: Pay Level- 5 (Rs.21700- 69100/-) (one extra increment at the time of entry)

4. Qualification: HSC with Mining Mate Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS as per MMR (Metalliferous Mines Regulations), 1961

आयु सीमा (Age Limit): Age as on 01.01.2022 - Not below 18 years and above 32 years

Selection Procedure

1. Selection will be made on the basis of career marking and performance in the Walk-In interview considering the vacancies, percentage of reservation as well as requirement.

2. Filling-up of vacancies is solely at the discretion of the Management based on suitability of candidates and no claim will arise for appointment, if vacancies are not filled up due to un- suitability/insufficient number of candidates.

3. The candidature of the applicant would be provisional and subject to subsequent verification of certificates/ testimonials.

आवेदन करने का तरीका (How to apply)

चयन प्रकिया: अभ्यर्थी का चयन लिखित परीक्षा एवं साक्षात्कार में उनके प्रदर्शन के आधार पर किया जाएगा।

1. The candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria for respective posts are advised to download the bio- data format from OMC Website https://omcltd.in. which to be filled up by the candidate in English after carefully reading the eligibility criteria prescribed for each post.

2. The applicant should affix recent colour passport size photograph at top right side of the application form,

The applicant should submit self attested copy of certificates/documents from HSC onwards towards proof of qualification, marks, age, caste, अनुभव, resident certificate etc along with the application form at the time of interview. Valid caste certificate/ SEBC certificate & resident certificate must be obtained from the Competent Authority & be produced on the date of interview. SEBC certificate issued on or after 16.02.2019 shall be considered valid for the purpose of candidature. OBC certificate in place of SEBC certificate shall not be accepted. The candidates shall submit the Resident Certificate issued by the Competent Authority on or after 16.02.2017.

4. The candidates already employed in Govt./ Semi-Govt./ Central PSU/ State PSU shall submit 'No Objection Certificate' issued by their present employer at the time of interview.

5. Applications without supporting documents/incomplete/not full-filling the prescribed criteria in any respect shall be rejected.

6. Interested eligible candidates (domicile of the State of Odisha for Non-Executive posts) are advised to download the bio-data format from OMC website https://omcltd.in and submit the same duly filled in and signed together with self attested supporting documents at the time of Walk-in-Interview.

a) Foreman (Mining): 15.02.2022 08:00 AM

b) Surveyor: 16.02.2022 08:00 AM

c) Mining Mate- III: 16.02.2022 11:00 AM

8. Venue of Interview: Community Centre, OMC Colony of Regional Office, Barbil Dist- Keonjhar

Important Instructions:

1. The candidates shall produce Identity Proof (Aadhar/ Voter ID/ Driving License/Pan Card/Pass Port) at the time of document verification on the date of Walk-in-Interview.

2. Candidates are advised to visit Corporation website https://omcltd.in at regular intervals for any notification, news, updates, results etc relating to recruitment.

3. The decision of OMC Management shall be final & binding on all candidates on all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of the application, selection of candidate, cancellation of the recruitment process, etc. No enquiry/correspondence will be entertained in this regard.

4. At any stage of recruitment process, if it is found that the candidate has furnished false or incorrect information then the candidature /appointment of the candidate shall liable to be cancelled.

5. Canvassing in any form will be viewed adversely & may lead to disqualification.

6. Finally selected candidates shall have to produce the required documents at the time of joining at respective places of posting as per provisions of OMC R&P Rules for Non-executives 2012 (visit OMC website https://omcltd.in).

7. Candidates after recruitment can be posted in any establishment of OMC.

8. OMC service is not pensionable.

9. The candidates against whom vigilance/criminal case is pending shall not be eligible.

10. The candidates (in case of married) should not have more than one spouse living.

11. Any dispute arising in this connection will be subject to jurisdiction of appropriate Courts of Odisha.
