शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications): Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent or BE in Mechanical Engineering. अनुभव: Candidate must have minimum 10 years of working अनुभव in AVNL/erstwhile Ordnance Factories/PSUs/Autonomous bodies/Govt.Depts/ Defence Services etc.

आयुध निर्माणी मेदक ये रक्षा मंत्रालय, आयुध निर्माणी बोर्ड के 40 आयुध निर्माणियों में से एक है । तत्कालीन प्रधानमंत्री, स्वर्गीय श्रीमती इन्दिरा गांधी ने 19, जुलाई, 1984 को मेदक जिले के एद्दुमैलारम में, पैदल सेना यु्द्ध वाहन के देशी उत्पादन के लिए निर्माणी की स्थापना की नींव डाली । समय से पहले ही हमने भारतीय सेना के लिए सारथ के रूप में विश्व विख्यात सर्वोत्कृष्ठ पैदल सेना युद्ध वाहन में से एक का उत्पादन शुरू किया है । आयुध निर्माणी मेदक का प्रथम वाहन वर्ष 1987 में उत्पादन किया गया । दो दशकों से भी कम समय में , हम अधिसूचित पिछड़े क्षेत्र् में तकनीकी एवं विशालकाय प्रबंधन को विकसित किया जिसमें आंध्र प्रदेश के मेदक जैसे पिछडे जिले के कुछ अपरिचित गॉव भी शामिल है ।
