5. Eligibility Conditions for appointment on deputation (including short term contract) basis: Officers under the Central Government or State Government or Union Territories or Public Sector Undertakings or Agricultural Universities or recognised research institutions or semi-Government or autonomous or statutory organisations : Essential: holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or with five years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in Level-6 (Rs. 35400-112400) in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and

6. Possessing the following educational qualifications and अनुभव: ESsential: Degree in Agricultural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering of a recognised University. Two years' अनुभव in testing and evaluation of agricultural machinery from Central Government or state governments or union territory administrations or public sector undertakings or agricultural universities or recognised research institutions or councils or semi-

7. Desirable: One-year practical अनुभव in mechanized farming practices.

8. Place of posting: can be Farm Machinery Training and Testing Institute at Budni (Madhya Pradesh) or Hisar (Haryana) or Anantapur (Andhra Pradesh) or Biswanath Chariali (Assam) or at Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (Hqrs)

9. Period of deputation: Period of deputation (including short term contract) including a period of deputation (including short term contract) in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization or department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not to exceed three years.

क्षेत्रीय उत्तर पूर्वी कृषि मशीनरी परीक्षण और प्रशिक्षण संस्थान या (एनईआर-एफएमटीटीआई) भारत के असम के सोनितपुर जिले के बिश्वनाथ चरियाली में स्थित है। और, हरे-भरे चाय बागानों से घिरा, इसका हरा-भरा वातावरण कृषि उपकरणों के प्रशिक्षण और परीक्षण के लिए उपयुक्त साबित हुआ है।

करीब बीस साल पहले जिस संस्थान की स्थापना इस नेक कार्य के साथ की गई थी कि कृषि उत्पादन में आत्मनिर्भर बनने की उच्च क्षमता वाले पूर्वोत्तर राज्यों ने कठिन परिस्थितियों में शुरुआत की थी, अब यह अपनी किशोरावस्था तक पहुंच गया है और उपयुक्त मशीनीकरण का प्रसार कर रहा है। और लगभग सभी प्रकार के लाभार्थियों को प्रौद्योगिकी। इन पिछले बीस वर्षों में, हमने प्रभावी प्रशिक्षण पद्धति और बीआईएस मानदंडों के अनुसार परीक्षण करने के लिए आवश्यक सभी प्रकार के आधुनिक उपकरणों से लैस किया है। संस्थान ने प्रशिक्षण, परीक्षण और मशीनीकृत खेती में महत्वपूर्ण लक्ष्य हासिल किया है।
