शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications): The candidate should have already passed the prescribed qualification of High School/10th with minimum 50% marks & ITI in notified trade on the date of issue of notification. i.e. 03.07.2023.

आयु सीमा (Age Limit): The candidates must not be less than 15 years of age and not more than 24 years of age as on 02.08.2023. In the case of SC/ST candidates, upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years and in the case of OBC candidates, the upper age limit is relaxed by 3 years. For Divyang candidates maximum 10 years age relaxation is permitted.

Application Fee: The candidates will have to pay Rs.100/- as processing fee. SC/ST/EWS/Divyang (PwBD)/Women candidates are exempted from payment of processing fee.

Selection Procedure: Selection of the eligible candidates for imparting training under the Apprentice Act, 1961 will be based on the merit list which would be prepared taking the average of the percentage of marks obtained by the candidates in both Matriculation [with minimum 50% (aggregate) marks] and ITI examination giving equal weightage to both.

पूर्वोत्तर रेलवे का गठन 14 अप्रेल, 1952 को मुख्यत: दो रेलवे प्रणालियों (अवध और तिरहुत रेलवे तथा असम रेलवे) और बी.बी एण्ड सी.आई. के कानपुर अछनेरा खण्ड को जोड़ कर हुआ। 15 जनवरी 1958 को यह दो जोनों में विभाजित हुआ – पूर्वोत्तर और पूर्वोत्तर सीमांत रेलवे में। अपने वर्तमान स्वरूप में पूर्वोत्तर रेलवे सन 2002 के जोनों के पुनर्गठन के बाद आया। इस जोन में 3450 रूट किलोमीटर और 486 स्टेशन हैं। पुनर्गठन के बाद इस रेलवे में तीन मण्डल हैं – वारणसी, लखनऊ और इज्जतनगर। पूर्वोत्तर रेलवे मूलत: उत्तरप्रदेश, उत्तराखण्ड और बिहार के पश्चिमी जिलों को यातायात सुविधायें देता है।
