National Stock Exchange (NSE), a leading stock exchange of India and one of the largest stock exchanges in the world, invites applications for the post of Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO)

1. Post Name: Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer

2. Candidate Requirements:

a. 25+ years of अनुभव; domain knowledge in various aspects of capital / securities / financial markets

b. Minimum 5 years at leadership level, preferably as a CEO in the financial services sector Must be abreast of relevant market developments, regulatory frameworks, product innovations and technology advancements in the local and global capital markets

c. अनुभव in engaging with diverse stakeholders like regulators, shareholders, business partners, customers, employees, and the Board Track record of strengthening Corporate Governance, Enterprise Risk Management and Compliance management framework

d. Ability to leverage Technology to deliver process and business transformation Ability to lead and develop a team which is capable, performance oriented, motivated, with strong values and cultural alignment

e. A results-oriented leader, persuasive and passionate communicator, with highest ethical standards Exposure to operating in a publicly listed company or having led an organization through an 'Initial Public Offering' (IPO) process will be an added advantage

3. Candidates shall need to fulfill the eligibility requirements under the Companies Act, 2013 and SEBI Regulations.

4. Location: The position is based in Mumbai, India

Selection Procedure

1. Kindly note, merely fulfilling the eligibility conditions laid down in the advertisement as regards to qualifications and अनुभव, would not automatically entitle any candidate to be called for the interview.

2. The applications will be shortlisted by the Nomination and Remuneration Committee (NRC) of NSE. The Selection Committee comprising of the NRC members and the Independent External Persons after following the due selection process will recommend names to the Board of NSE for appropriate decision.

3. The decision of the Board will be submitted to SEBI for final approval.
