राष्ट्रीय सतत तटीय प्रबंधन केंद्र (NCSCM) is a research organization of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India. The organization is looking for Project Staff for some of its projects on a contract basis.

1. Post Name: Project Associate III

3. Remuneration (Rs./ Month) : 35000+HRA

4. Qualification / अनुभव : Essential: First class Post Graduate degree in Natural Science/ Environmental Science/ Marine Biology/ Marine Science/ Life Science, with minimum 3 years’ अनुभव relevant to the nature of work. Desirable: PhD in relevant subject.  अनुभव in underwater diving, survey and sampling  Knowledge of microbiology

5. Nature of Work : Assist scientists in: Conducting Ecology Biodiversity surveys and water quality analysis in coastal and marine environment. Field surveys, sampling, microbial analysis. Data Analysis, and draft report preparation

Desirable: Ph.D. in the relevant subject. Hands on अनुभव in sampling, culturing, Enrichment, isolation, identification and characterization of microbes in marine/ other aquatic environment

5. Nature of Work: Assessment of diversity and distribution of microbial communities in marine and other natural environment.  Collection of data in the field, data compilation/ processing, preparation of draft report and progress reports.

5. Nature of Work : Technical support to Director Office.Maintenance, updation and back up of Digital repository of Institutional Knowledge Products. Work as a team member in the Technical team for installation, configuration, administration and maintenance of Server, Systems, Storage, Printer, and Plotter and other IT peripherals.
