शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications): M.A. in Linguistics/ Applied Linguistics/ Computational Linguistics and Allied subjects. Desirable: (1) Candidates are expected to carry out tasks related to IPA transcriptions and annotation of (recorded) speech data (2) Native speakers of Meetei and Kokborok with a solid linguistics background will be preferred. (3) Candidates with knowledge of PRAAT and other Phonetic software will be preferred. (4) Candidates with a Ph.D. in Phonetics, Computational Linguistics, NLP, or Syntax, are encouraged to apply.

Selection Procedure

Candidates will be selected based on written test/personal interview/medical test/ walkin interview. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the given criteria.

चयन प्रकिया: अभ्यर्थी का चयन लिखित परीक्षा एवं साक्षात्कार में उनके प्रदर्शन के आधार पर किया जाएगा।

Interested candidates may appear before the interview board with original and self-attested photocopies of mark sheets, certificates from 10th standard onwards, testimonials, caste certificate (if applicable), अनुभव certificate (if any), any other testimonials and a copy of recent signed Curriculum Vitae (CV). An advance copy of their CV along with the application in the prescribed format (enclosed as Annexure-I) must be sent to Dr. Meiraba Takhellambam, Principal Investigator (PI) via e-mail at [email protected] or [email protected] on or before 29/01/2023.
N.B. (1) No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
(2) Those in employment or doing Ph.D. must submit a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from
the concerned employer / Ph.D. Supervisor.
