A written test may be conducted prior to the interview depending upon the number of candidates appearing for a specific project position.

चयन प्रकिया: अभ्यर्थी का चयन लिखित परीक्षा एवं साक्षात्कार में उनके प्रदर्शन के आधार पर किया जाएगा।

1. Walk-in-interviews for temporary positions will be held at JNTBGRI (10 a.m.), Palode on December 16, 2021 to December 17, 2021

2. Candidates should report by 9.00 a.m.

3. The prescribed application form appended below,duly downloaded from Institute web site and filled,is to be submitted at the time of screening

4. The filled up application form should be accompanied by self-attested copiesof certificates in support of age, educational qualifications, अनुभव and caste mentioned in the application.

5. The candidate must bring the original certificates/testimonials at the time of screening.

6. No TA/DA will be given to candidates for attending the walk-in-interview.

7. Appointments in these temporary positions are till March 31, 2022 and are likely to be extended.

8. Change in the date of walk-in-interview due to unforeseen reasons, if any, will be notified in the web site.

9. Candidates are instructed to follow Covid precautions during their visit to the Institute for the walk-in-interview.

10. JNTBGRI is located near Palode (PIN 695562), 40 km away from Thiruvananthapuram City in the Thiruvananthapuram-Thenkasi route. JNTBGRI is also reachable from Nilamel, Kilimanoor and Kulathupuzha.

KSCSTE-Jawaharlal Nehru Tropical Botanic Garden and Research Institute (KSCSTE – JNTBGRI) was found in 1979 with the objective of establishing a Conservatory Botanic Garden of tropical plant resources in general and of the country and the Kerala state in particular. It also undertakes research programs for the sustainable utilization of resources. The idea of establishing the institute was conceived soon after the first United Nations Conference on Human Environment, held in Stockholm in 1972 by the Founder Director, the late Professor A. Abraham and it became his commitment to conserving the waning tropical plant species of India. Consequently, the institute was established as an autonomous R & D organization by the Government of Kerala in 1979.
