3. Contract Period: 3 years (Extendable up to 5 years at Bank’s discretion subject to regulatory / statuary guidelines.)

4. Likely Place of Posting: Mumbai / Navi Mumbai Bank reserves right to post as per Bank’s requirement

5. Annual CTC (approx.): Consolidated remuneration based on अनुभव, Seniority level etc. subject to deduction of taxes as applicable

6. Educational Qualification: Graduate or Post Graduate preferably with MBA(Finance) / Economics/ Risk Management

7. Desirable Qualification:

(i) Professional Certification in Financial Risk Management (FRM) from Global Association of Risk Professionals and/or

(ii) Designated as Chartered Accountant (CA) by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, or equivalent abroad, and/or

(iii) Holder of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) awarded by CFA Institute,

8. Specific Skill Required: Strong analytical and dispute resolution and interpretation skills. Mathematical / Statistical Model/ Analytical skills. Presentation skills. External relationship management with respect to regulators, legislators and other key constituents.

9. Work अनुभव (as on 28-02-2022): Minimum 20 years’ of अनुभव in a Bank (India/ Abroad)/ Financial Institution/ BFSI/ Economic Research with at least 4 to 5 years’ अनुभव in Risk function of a Bank.

10. Job Profile: 

a. To evolve risk profile of the bank, and design framework to assess, measure, and manage risks associated with various business activities of the bank.

b. To develop risk culture and risk framework based on risk appetite for the bank

c. Develop comprehensive risk management framework, processes, tools to assess, identify, measure and prevent risks

d. Ensure that the bank’s risk organization is operating in a controlled and fully documented environment

e. Ensure that the entire risk spectrum across market /operational/credit risks are properly managed

f. Ensure the supervision funding/liquidity risks including capital limits

g. Ensure regulatory compliant risk governance including effectiveness and compliance with the bank’s policies and evaluate the effectiveness of controls designed to address risks

h. Ensuring a system-wide view and understanding of the combined risks of the business and their inter-relationships (interest rate risk, liquidity risk, operating risk, credit risk, reputational risk, regulatory risk).

i. Continuously developing, enhancing and embedding the risk framework for managing risks across the institution, ensuring that processes are fit for purpose.

j. Establishing an early warning or trigger system for breaches of the bank’s risk appetite or limits; influencing and, when necessary, challenging material risk decisions.
