शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications):
Senior Research Fellow (SRF): Candidates Should Master’s degree in Agriculture, Biotechnology, Botany, or Life Sciences with a 4-year Bachelor’s degree or a post-graduate degree with a 3-year Bachelor’s degree and NET qualification.
अनुभव: Preferably in molecular biology techniques and plant tissue culture.
Young Professional-II (YP-II): Candidates Should Master’s degree in Agriculture, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or related fields. Desirable अनुभव: Familiarity with NGS data analysis, molecular biology, and software such as MS Office.
Young Professional-I (YP-I): Candidates Should Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a certificate in CCC or ADCA and 1 year of work अनुभव.
Field/Lab Assistant: Candidates Should have Graduation in any discipline with a diploma in computer applications and typing ability in Hindi and English.

आयु सीमा (Age Limit): Maximum 45 Years.

The interview/examination will be held in person at ICAR-IIVR, Varanasi. Eligible and interested candidates who meet the necessary qualifications are invited to appear before the Selection Committee for the test/interview on October 4, 2024, at 10:00 AM at ICAR-IIVR, Varanasi.

Vegetable research was given impetus through establishment of AICRP on vegetable crops during 1971 at IARI, New Delhi with the responsibilities of coordinating and monitoring of vegetable research programmes of the country.AICRP on vegetable crops was elevated to the level of Project Directorate of Vegetable Research (PDVR) during 1986. PDVR was further upgraded to the level of national institute under ICAR system during 1999 and named Indian Institute of Vegetable Research.
