Applications are invited from eligible practicing Advocates for fillingup 02 (Two) vacant posts of Additional District And Sessions Judges by direct recruitment, in the cadre of Uttarakhand Higher Judicial Service, in the pay scale of 51,550-1,230-58,930-1 ,380-63,070, in accordance with provisions of the Uttarakhand Higher Judicial Service Rules - 2004 (As amended from time to time).

4. Eligibilityl Qualifications for the Applicants: -

[A] No person shall be eligible for appointment to the post of Additional District & Sessions Judge in Uttarakhand Higher Judicial Service by direct recruitment from Bar, unless:-

(i) He/ She is a Citizen of India.

(ii) He/ She has practiced as an Advocate for not less than 07 years continuous standing at bar, as on the first day of January 2022. (Certificate of competent authority is required.)

(iii) Prosecuting Officer/ Assistant Prosecuting Officers are also treated to be an Advocate and are eligible in view of the Judgment of Hon'ble Supreme Court passed in Civil Appeal NO.561 of 2013; Deepak Aggarwal Vs. Keshav Kaushik & Others and Civil Appeal No.1698 of 2020 Dheeraj Mor Vs. Hon'ble High Court of Delhi.

Selection Procedure

1. The examination for H.J.S. (Direct recruitment) shall be conducted in three parts: -

(i) (a) Preliminary Examination,

(b) Mains Examination,

(ii) The Preliminary Examination shall be based on objective type multiple choice questions (100 questions) (on OMR sheet) of the duration of 90 minutes to test the overall knowledge of the candidates with respect to the following

(a) English Language

(b) General Knowledge

(c) Current Affairs

(d) History and Geography

(e) Science and Technology

(f) Sports

(g) Law and the Constitution of India

2. In Case, For The Aforesaid 02 Vacancies, Less Than 50 Applications Will Be Received For The Higher Judicial Service Examination-2022 (Direct भर्ती) Then, Instead Of Preliminary Examination Directly, Written! Mains Examination Will Be Conducted.

3. Candidates who will secure minimum 50% or more marks, in Preliminary Examination (if held), shall only be called to appear in the Mains/ Written Examination provided, candidates not more than 15 times of number of vacancies category-wise shall be admitted to the Mains I Written Examination

4. The candidates, who will secure minimum 40% marks in each paper and minimum 50% marks in aggregate in the Main written examination, shall only be eligible to be called for the Viva-Voce.

5. The candidates must have to bring all the original documents as claimed by them, at the time of Viva-voce

आवेदन करने का तरीका (How to apply)

चयन प्रकिया: अभ्यर्थी का चयन लिखित परीक्षा एवं साक्षात्कार में उनके प्रदर्शन के आधार पर किया जाएगा।

1. The last date for submission of duly completed application form before the office of "Registrar General, उत्तराखंड उच्च न्यायालय, Nainital" is 30.04.2022 by 1.00 P.M.

2. The envelope containing the Application Form must clearly mention on its top "Application for the Examination H.J.S. (DIR) - 2022".

3. The High Court will not be responsible for any delay whatsoever, in timely receiving of application complete in all aspects

4. Application received after the last date and time as mentioned above will not be entertained

5. The list of candidates eligible to appear in the Preliminary/ Mains examination shall be uploaded on the High Court website on or before 15.05.2022.

उत्तराखंड राज्य का निर्माण 09/11/2000 में उत्तर प्रदेश राज्य के विभाजन से हुआ था I उत्तराखंड उच्च न्यायालय भी राज्य के निर्माण के दिवस ही नैनीताल में स्थापित किया गया था। उस दिन के बाद से उच्च न्यायालय मल्लीताल नैनीताल में स्थित एक पुरानी इमारत में कार्य कर रहा है, जिसे पुराने सचिवालय के रूप में जाना जाता था ।

उच्च न्यायालय की इमारत एक बहुत ही शानदार इमारत हैं, जिसको 1900 सदी में निर्मित किया गया था I ईमारत के सामने का पार्क तथा ईमारत की पृष्ठभूमि में नैना पीक, जो की नैनीताल में सबसे ऊंची चोटी है, संपूर्ण द्रस्य को सुरम्य बनाती है I शुरुआत में न्यायालय हेतु पांच कमरों का निर्माण किया गया, लेकिन बाद में न्यायालय में अधिक कमरो को जोड़ा गया । एक विशाल मुख्य न्यायाधीश कोर्ट ब्लॉक और वकीलों के चैम्बरों का एक ब्लॉक भी वर्ष 2007 में बनाया गया है।
