शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications):
Senior Superintendent (Hindi): Bachelor Degree of minimum 03 years duration in Hindi Literature / Hindi with minimum 50% marks and Should have English as one of the subjects in Graduation. The degree certificate should clearly mention Bachelor Degree awarded in ‘Hindi Literature / Hindi’. Candidates should have basic knowledge & skills in computer applications (MS-office etc.) in office environment.
Senior Accountant: Intermediate or equivalent in CA/ ICWA (CMA). OR Master Degree in Commerce (M.Com.) of minimum 2 years duration with minimum 55% marks. Candidates should be proficient in operations of personal computer and have basic knowledge & skills in computer applications (MS office etc.) in office environment.
Senior Superintendent (HR): Bachelor Degree of minimum 03 years duration with minimum 50% marks and Diploma in Personnel Management/ Industrial Relations with minimum 50% marks. Candidates should be proficient in operations of personal computer and have basic knowledge & skills in computer applications (MS office etc.) in office environment.
Senior Chemist: Master Degree (M.Sc.) in Chemistry of minimum 02 years duration with minimum 50 % marks.
Foreman (Electrical): Diploma in Engineering in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics with minimum 55% marks.
Foreman (Instrumentation): Diploma in Engineering in Instrumentation/Instrumentation & Control/ Electronics & Instrumentation / Electrical & Instrumentation/ Electronics/ Electrical & Electronics with minimum 55% marks.
Foreman (Mechanical): Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical / Production/ Production & Industrial/ Manufacturing/ Mechanical & Automobile with minimum 55% marks.

गेल (इंडिया) लिमिटेड का गठन अगस्त, 1984 में पेट्रोलियम और प्राकृतिक गैस मंत्रालय के अधीन केन्द्रीय सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के उपक्रम (पीएसयू) के रूप में राष्ट्रीय अर्थव्यवस्था के लाभ के लिए प्राकृतिक गैस और इसके अंशों के प्रभावी और आर्थिक उपयोग में तेज़ी लाने तथा इसको इष्टतम किए जाने के मिशन के साथ की गई थी । एक सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के उपक्रम के तौर पर, कंपनी के 57% शेयर भारत के राष्ट्रपति धारित करते हैं । गेल (इंडिया) लिमिटेड भारत की सबसे बड़ी प्राकृतिक गैस कंपनी है जो सात महारत्न सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के उपक्रमों (पीएसयू) में से एक है और महारत्न का दर्जा दिए जाने वालो में से सबसे युवा पीएसयू है । कंपनी को प्रारंभ में 1800 किलोमीटर लंबी देशव्यापी हजीरा-विजयपुर-जगदीशपुर (एजवीजे) प्राकृतिक गैस पाइपलाइन परियोजना के निर्माण, प्रचालन और अनुरक्षण की जिम्मेदारी दी गई थी । उस समय यह विश्व की सबसे बड़ी क्रासकंट्री प्राकृतिक गैस पाइपलाइन परियोजनाओं में से एक थी ।
