शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications): Graduate or Post Graduate in biological sciences (3 years अनुभव for Graduates)

अनुभव (अनुभव): Working अनुभव in research laboratories, culture media preparation and sterilization,
sterilization of glassware, handling of scientific equipment, maintenance of fungal and bacterial cultures, conducting pot culture tests for evaluation of bio efficiency of the bio agents against plant pathogens against plant pathogens, अनुभव field layout prepatation, seed sowing, experimental field maintenance, recording observations etc.

आयु सीमा (Age Limit): Age limit as on 1.11.2022 : for YP-I post is minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years. Relaxation in upper age limit is permissible in case of SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates as per Govt. of India Rules applicable to the external funded project

Selection Procedure

Candidates will be selected based on a written test/personal interview/medical test/walkin interview. Once a candidate is selected they will be placed as युवा पेशेवर-I in IIOR.

The establishment of All India Coordinated Research Project on Oilseeds (AICORPO) in April, 1967 based on the recommendations of a sub-committee appointed by the Government of India was the most significant event in the history of oilseeds research in India. The project had its beginning with one Project Coordinator to coordinate and monitor the research programmes of groundnut, rapeseed-mustard, sesame, linseed and castor operating at 32 research centres. Later, during 1972, safflower, sunflower and niger were brought under the umbrella of AICORPO and the number of research centres increased to 40. Realizing the need for one national institute for oilseeds, the AICORPO was elevated to the status of Directorate of Oilseeds Research (DOR) on August 1, 1977 with a Project Director as its administrative head and seven Project Coordinators for the seven mandate oilseed crops.
