Subject:- Filling up the one post of inspector & one post of Stenographer Gr-ll in the Office of Competent Authority & Administrator, SAFEMA/NDPSA, Mumbai on deputation/absorption basis - reg. 1. Name of the Post: निरीक्षकs: post in Ahmedabad. Required to be filled up by deputation/ absorption basis in the Pav Level 6. 2. No of Post: 01 anticipated 3. Eligibility: निरीक्षक of Income Tax or Customs and Central Excise or Narcotics (Central Bureau of Narcotics or Narcotics Control Bureau) or Assistant Enforcement Officer or Sub- निरीक्षक of Police, Central Bureau of Investigation; or Head Clerks or Tax Assistants or Upper Division Clerks of Income Tax, Central Excise and Customs Departments who have qualified in the Departmental Examination for Income- Tax Act, Customs Act, Foreign Exchange Maintenance Act and Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act will be given preference.

राजस्व विभाग सचिव( राजस्व) के पूर्ण निर्देशन एवं नियंत्रण में कार्य करता है । यह प्रत्यक्ष और अप्रत्यक्ष संघीय करों से संबंधित मामलों के संबंध में अपने अधीनस्थ दो कानूनी बोर्डों नामतः केन्द्रीय प्रत्यक्ष कर बोर्ड और केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क एवं सीमा शुल्क बोर्ड के माध्यम से नियंत्रण करता है । प्रत्येक बोर्ड के प्रमुख अध्यक्ष होते हैं जो कि भारत सरकार के पदेन विशेष सचिव भी होते हैं । केन्द्रीय प्रत्यक्ष कर बोर्ड द्वारा सभी प्रत्यक्ष करों के लगाने और संग्रहण के कार्य किए जाते हैं जबकि सीमा शुल्क और केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क, सेवा कर तथा अन्य अप्रत्यक्ष कर लगाने व संग्रहण से संबंधित कार्य केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क और सीमा शुल्क बोर्ड के कार्यक्षेत्र में आता है । ये दोनों बोर्ड केन्द्रीय राजस्व बोर्ड अधिनियम, 1963 के अंतर्गत गठित किए गए थे । वर्तमान में, केन्द्रीय प्रत्यक्ष कर बोर्ड में 6 सदस्य और केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क एवं सीमा शुल्क बोर्ड में 5 सदस्य हैं ।
