शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications):
(i) Doctorate in Horticulture or Life Sciences from a recognised University with at least fifteen years’ अनुभव in horticulture development or research or production or extension including five years’ अनुभव in the field of coconut development; or
(ii) Master’s degree in Management with at least twenty years managerial अनुभव including ten years in horticulture development of which five years’ अनुभव should be in the field of coconut development.

1,44,200-2,18,200/- Per Month

नारियल विकास बोर्डसांविधिक निकाय है जो देश में नारियल की खेती और उद्योग के एकीकृत विकास हेतु कृषि मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार के अधीन स्थापित है औरनारियल की उत्पादकता बढ़ाने और उत्पादों के विविधीकरण पर ज़ोर दिया जाता है। नारियल विकास बोर्ड सांविधिक निकाय है जो देश में नारियल के उत्पादन और उपयोग के एकीकृत विकास हेतु कृषि मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार के अधीन स्थापित है और उत्पादकता की वृद्धि और उत्पाद विविधीकरण पर ज़ोर देता है। । बोर्ड 12 जनवरी 1981 को स्थापित हुआ और कृषि मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार के प्रशासनिक नियंत्रण में कार्यरत है। इसका मुख्यालय केरल के कोची में है और क्षेत्रीय कार्यालय कर्नाटक के बैंगलूर, तमिल नाडु के चेन्नै एवं असम की गुवाहटी में है।
बोर्ड के छह राज्य केन्द्र हैं जो उड़ीसा के भुबनेश्वर, पश्चिम बंगाल के कोलकाता, बिहार के पटना, महाराष्ट्र के ठाणे, आंध्र प्रदेश के हैदराबाद और संघ शासित क्षेत्र अंडमान व निकोबार द्वीपसमूह के पोर्ट ब्लेयर में स्थित हैं। देश के विविध भागों में बोर्ड के 9 प्रदर्शन सह बीज उत्पादन फार्म हैं और अब 7 फार्मों का रख-रखाव किया जाता है। दिल्ली में बाज़ार विकास सह सूचना केन्द्र स्थापित है। बोर्ड ने केरल में आलुवा के पास वाष़क्कुलम में प्रौद्योगिकी विकास केन्द्र की भी स्थापना की है।
