Name of the Project- Identify drivers of co-operative breeding in Yellow billed-babbler (Turdoides affinis) using molecular and physiological tools (CRG/2020/002439). 4. Fellowship: @15000/month fixed 5. Essential qualification: Bachelor of Science in Biology. 6. Desirable अनुभव: Having hands-on अनुभव in field survey and handling of birds. 7. Job description: The selected candidates are expected to undertake field survey in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu to collect behavioural data on birds, perform lab work related to microsatellite, next generation sequencing, whole genome sequence assembly including tertiary analysis, and assist project Investigators in ongoing project activities. 1. Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow 2. No of Post: 01 3. Name of the Project- Identify drivers of co-operative breeding in Yellow billed-babbler (Turdoides affinis) using molecular and physiological tools (CRG/2020/002439). 4. Fellowship: @31000/month plus HRA 5. Essential qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences with 55% OR Graduate/post Graduate Degree in Professional Course in Life Sciences selected through a process described through any one of the following. a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Test - CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professor)/GATE. b. The selection process through National level examination conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc. 6. Desirable अनुभव: अनुभव in field research (especially on ornithology and behavioural studies on birds) as well as molecular genetics related laboratory work including Next Generation Sequencing and genomic data analysis. 7.
