शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications):
Technician: SSC / 10th standard or equivalent with Science subjects, with minimum 55% marks and ITI certificate or National/ State Trade Certificate in Electrician/Wireman trade. (OR) SSC/10th standard or equivalent with Science subjects, with minimum 55% marks and 2 years full time अनुभव as an apprentice trainee from a recognized Institution in Electrician/Wireman trade. (OR) SSC/10th standard or equivalent with Science subjects, with minimum 55% marks and 3 years of work अनुभव in the Electrician/Wireman trade in a Ministry / Department / Organisation / Public Sector Undertaking / Autonomous Body under Government of India / State / UT.
Technical Assistant: B.Sc. Agriculture/Horticulture or equivalent, with minimum 60% marks and one year अनुभव in relevant discipline from a recognized Institute/Organization. (OR) B.Sc. Agriculture/Horticulture or equivalent , with minimum 60% marks and one year full time professional qualification. (OR) Diploma in Horticulture of at least 3 years full time duration or at least 2 years full time duration in case of lateral admission in Diploma course, with minimum 60% marks and अनुभव of two years in the relevant area/field.

आयु सीमा (Age Limit): Maximum 28 Years.

दिनांक 25 जुलाई 1948 सुदूर तमिलनाडु के छोटे से गांव में त्यौहार का माहौल था. अवसथा भारतीय विज्ञान के एक नए अध्याय के प्रारंभ का. एक लाख से भी अधिक लोगों की भीड़ इस अवसर की साक्षी बनने के लिए उपस्थिति थी. यही वो दिन था जब सीएसआईआर, केंद्रीय विद्युत रसायन अनुसंधान संस्थान की कारैकुडी में स्थापना की गई. यह संस्थान अलगप्पा चेट्टियार, पंडित जवाहरलाल नेहरू तथा डॉक्टर शांति स्वरूप भटनागर के राष्ट्र को समर्पित प्रयासों का परिणाम है. पांच वर्ष बाद जनवरी 14, 1953 को यह स्वप्न साकार हुआ जब डॉक्टर एस राधाकृष्णन ने इस संस्थाTamil Nadu
न कोसीएसआईआर की 12 वीं राष्ट्रीय प्रयोगशाला के रूप में राष्ट्र को समर्पित किया.
