Skills / Eligibility

The Bureau of Police Research & Development (BPR&D) is inviting applications from the qualified, innovative, and dynamic professionals, to engage two (02) व्यक्तिगत सलाहकारs (Grade-I) to work in DG's Secretariat, purely on contractual basis, as per the work profile as described below:

1. Name of the position: व्यक्तिगत सलाहकार (Grade-I) Research (01) social Media (01)

2. Number of positions: 02

3. Period of Contract: For a period of Twelve 12 months.

4. Remuneration (per month) : Rs. 70,000/- (Fixed*) TDS as applicable

5. Educational qualifications & अनुभवs:

a) व्यक्तिगत सलाहकार Grade-I Persons having Post-Graduation Degree in Criminology, Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, Law, Police Administration. 5 years of अनुभव or Ph.D. in relevant field.

b) व्यक्तिगत सलाहकार Grade-I Media: - Social Persons having Post-Graduation Degree in Journalism & Mass Communication. 5 years of अनुभव of handling social media-related matters for Government/Private Organizations.

6. Place of Posting: BPR&D Headquarters, Mahipalpur, New Delhi.

7. Mode of Engagement: All the applications received within the by be scrutinized and shortlisted stipulated time shall a Departmental Screening Committee (DSC). The shortlisted candidates by the Consultancy Evaluation would then be interviewed Committee (CEC).

8. 13. Working Hours/ Leave: Working hours shall normally be from 9.30 AM to 6.00 PM during working days including half an hour lunch break in between 1.30 pm to 2.00 pm. However, in case of exigency, the व्यक्तिगत सलाहकारs (Grade-I) may be required to sit late and may be called on Saturdays/ Sundays and other holidays also. The व्यक्तिगत सलाहकारs (Grade-I) will be eligible for twelve (12) days paid leave during the period of twelve (12) months, subject to the approval of the Controlling/Supervisory Officer.

Selection Procedure

1. A list of all candidates shall be prepared in the descending order of their scores, with candidates obtaining highest quality index being kept at the top. Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of their scores.

2. In case, the selected candidate(s) is unwilling to work or the selected.

3. Candidate(s) wishes to leave the BPR&D, one-month prior notice shall be given by the concerned individual before leaving the Bureau. The candidate who is next in the merit list will be given the offer for the remaining period of the contract.

2. पुलिस अनुसंधान एवं विकास ब्यूरो (अंग्रेज़ी:ब्यूरो ऑफ पुलिस रिसर्च एण्ड डवलपमेंट, लघु:बी.पी.आर एण्ड डी) की स्थापना पुलिस बलों के आधुनिकीकरण के बारे में भारत सरकार के उद्देश्य को पूरा करने के लिए २८ अगस्त, १९७० को की गई थी।[2] अब यह बहुआयामी एवं परामर्शदाता संगठन है और इसके चार प्रभाग हैं। मूल रूप से संस्थान में दो प्रभाग होते थे: अनुसंधान एवं विकास प्रभाग। बाद में १९७३ में प्रशिक्षण प्रभाग जोड़ा गया। इसके बाद १९८३ में फॉरेन्ज़िक विज्ञान प्रभाग और १९९५ में दिष-सुधार प्रशासन प्रभाग जुड़े। इसके साथ साथ कुछ अन्य विभागों ने संस्थान के कुछ कार्य संभाले, जैसे १९७६ में अपराध विज्ञान एवं फॉरेन्ज़िक विज्ञान ने कुछ संबंधित कार्य संभाला। इस विभाग को बाद में लोक नायक जय प्रकाश नारायण राष्ट्रीय अपराध विज्ञान एवं फॉरेन्ज़िक विज्ञान नाम दिया गया। १९८६ में राष्ट्रीय अपराध अभिलेख ब्यूरो और २००२ में फॉरेन्ज़िक विज्ञान निदेशालय ने संभाला।
