Religious Teacher (RT): Candidates Should have Graduate with relevant qualifications.
Radio Mechanic (RM): Candidates Should have 10th with ITI in relevant trade.
Lineman (Lmn) Field: Candidates Should have 10th with ITI in relevant trade.
Engineer Equipment Mechanic (EE Mech): Candidates Should have 10th with ITI in relevant trade.
Electrician Mechanic Vehicle: Candidates Should have 10th with ITI in relevant trade.
Recovery Vehicle Mechanic: Candidates Should have 10th with ITI in relevant trade.
Upholster: Candidates Should have 10th with ITI in relevant trade.
Vehicle Mechanic Fitter: Candidates Should have 10th with ITI in relevant trade.
Draughtsman: Candidates Should have 10th with ITI in relevant trade.
Plumber: Candidates Should have 10th with ITI in relevant trade.
Electrical and Mechanical: Candidates Should have 10th with ITI in relevant trade.
Operation Theatre Technician (OTT): Candidates Should have Diploma in relevant field.
Pharmacist: Candidates Should have Diploma in Pharmacy.
X-Ray Assistant: Candidates Should have Diploma in relevant field.
Veterinary Field Assistant (VFA): Candidates Should have 10th with relevant qualifications.

Since then the Assam Rifles have undergone a number of name changes – the Assam Frontier Police (1883), the Assam Military Police (1891) and Eastern Bengal and Assam Military Police (1913), before finally becoming the Assam Rifles in 1917.
