1. 1st Class Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate branch in Engineering / Technology.
2. First class Post Graduate Degree in appropriate subject.
3. i) Must possess 1st Class Master Degree in Commerce. ii) Type writing Higher Grade in English and Shorthand Higher Grade in English conducted by State Board of Technical Education and Training.

Selection Procedure

Candidates will be selected based on written test/personal interview/medical test/walkin interview. Once a candidate is selected they will be placed as Lecturers in APPSC.

Earlier, the commission was known as the Andhra Service Commission (formed in 1953) which is based on the regulations of Madras Public Service Commission. Later in 1956, APPSC was formed by merging the Andhra Public Service Commission and Hyderabad Public Service Commissions.
