Selection Procedure
1. Online written Test: The online written test will be conducted tentatively on 25.06.2022. The call letter of test will be uploaded on Bank’s website and also advised to the candidates through SMS and e-mails. Candidates will be required to download the call letters.
2. Online written test will be held on-line. If number of applications is less, Bank reserves the right to consider selection of the candidate(s) through shortlisting and interview as mentioned below in Para (G) (ii), instead of Online written test & interview.
3. Interview: Adequate number of candidates as decided by the Bank will be called for Interview based on performance in online written test. Interview will carry 25 marks. The qualifying marks in Interview will be as decided by the Bank.
4. Merit List: The final merit list will be arrived at after aggregating the marks of Professional Knowledge test (out of 150 marks) and interview (out of 25 marks). Weightage of score will be as under
5. (i) System Officer (Test Engineer) - Written Test: 70%, Interview: 30%
(ii) System Officer (Web Developer) - Written Test: 70%, Interview: 30%
(iii) System Officer (Performance/Senior Automation Test Engineer) - Written Test: 70%, Interview: 30%
6. The selection will be made from the Top merit ranked candidates in each category. In case more than one candidate score the cut-off marks (common marks at cut-off point), such candidate will be ranked according to their age in descending order in the merit list
7. Shortlisting:
Mere fulfilling minimum qualification and अनुभव will not vest any right in candidate for being called for interview. The Short listing Committee constituted by the Bank will decide the short listing parameters and thereafter, adequate number of candidates, as decided by the Bank will be shortlisted and called for interview. The decision of the bank to call the candidates for the interview shall be final. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.

आवेदन करने का तरीका (How to apply)
चयन प्रकिया: अभ्यर्थी का चयन लिखित परीक्षा एवं साक्षात्कार में उनके प्रदर्शन के आधार पर किया जाएगा।
i. Candidates will be required to register themselves online through the link available on SBI website https://bank.sbi/web/careers and pay the application fee using Internet Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card etc.
ii. Candidates should first scan their latest photograph and signature. Online application will not be registered unless candidate uploads his/her photo and signature as specified on the online registration page (under ‘How to Upload Documents”).
iii. Candidates should fill the application carefully. Once application is filled-in completely, candidate should submit the same. In the event of candidate not being able to fill the application in one go, he can save the information already entered.
a. When the information/ application is saved, a provisional registration number and password is generated by the system and displayed on the screen.
b. Candidate should note down the registration number and password. They can re-open the saved application using registration number and password and edit the particulars, if needed.
c. This facility of editing the saved information will be available for three times only. Once the application is filled completely, candidate should submit the same and proceed for online payment of fee.
iv. After registering online, the candidates are advised to take a printout of the system generated online application forms

स्टेट बैंक ऑफ इंडिया (State bank of India / SBI) भारत का सबसे बड़ी एवं सबसे पुरानी bank)है। २ जून १८०६ को कलकत्ता में ‘बैंक ऑफ़ कलकत्ता’ की स्थापना हुई थी। तीन वर्षों के पश्चात इसको चार्टर मिला तथा इसका पुनर्गठन बैंक ऑफ़ बंगाल के रूप में २ जनवरी १८०९ को हुआ। यह अपने तरह का अनोखा बैंक था जो साझा स्टॉक पर ब्रिटिश इंडिया तथा बंगाल सरकार द्वारा चलाया जाता था। बैंक ऑफ़ बॉम्बे तथा बैंक ऑफ़ मद्रास की शुरुआत बाद में हुई। ये तीनों बैंक आधुनिक भारत के प्रमुख बैंक तब तक बने रहे जब तक कि इनका विलय इंपिरियल बैंक ऑफ़ इंडिया (हिन्दी अनुवाद – भारतीय शाही बैंक) में २७ जनवरी १९२१ को नहीं कर दिया गया। सन १९५१ में पहली पंचवर्षीय योजना की नींव डाली गई जिसमें गांवों के विकास पर जोर डाला गया था। इस समय तक इंपिरियल बैंक ऑफ़ इंडिया का कारोबार सिर्फ़ शहरों तक सीमित था। अतः ग्रामीण विकास के मद्देनजर एक ऐसे बैंक की कल्पना की गई जिसकी पहुंच गांवों तक हो तथा ग्रामीण जनता को जिसका लाभ हो सके। इसके फलस्वरूप १ जुलाई १९५५ को स्टेट बैंक आफ़ इंडिया की स्थापना की गई, जिसमे सरकार की हिस्सेदारी 61.58% हैं।[3] अपने स्थापना काल में स्टेट बैंक के कुल ४८० कार्यालय थे जिसमें शाखाएं, उप शाखाएं तथा तीन स्थानीय मुख्यालय शामिल थे, जो इम्पीरियल बैंकों के मुख्यालयों को बनाया गया था।
