Skills / Eligibility

1. Position: Agri entrepreneur Manager

2. No of Post: 4 positions

3. Location: Amritsar, Gurdaspur, Tarn Taran, Ferozepur

4. Knowledge:

Technical expertise in agriculture and business management
Managing field team and on ground अनुभव of Agri / business management projects

5. Skills/Personal traits:

Results oriented and target driven
Solution focused, problem solving
Computer and IT proficient
Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative
Ability to prioritize, juggle a varied workload, work calmly under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to network and build relationships at all levels (including rural communities)
Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English, Hindi and Punjabi
Excellent presentation skills
Good negotiation skills; the ability to challenge colleagues effectively in order to achieve the best outcome

6. अनुभव:

Minimum 2 years of अनुभव in Agri based program implementation
अनुभव of providing detailed reports and updates
Successful track record of achieving targets
अनुभव of data collection and handling
Managing large and diverse teams

7. Qualifications: Post graduate degree in Agriculture / Management

8. Circumstances:

Undertake extensive travel to the field and other locations as required
Able to work extended hours and weekend as required

9. Emoluments: The position carries a वेतन of Rs. 40,000 per month (CTC) + Travel expenses on actual basis.

पंजाब कृषि विश्वविद्यालय (Punjab Agricultural University – PAU) की स्थापना 1962 में की गयी थी। 1966 में हरयाणा बनाने के बाद, इस यूनिवर्सिटी के विभाजन होकर हरयाणा कृषि विश्वविद्यालय और हिमाचल प्रदेश कृषि विश्वविद्यालय बनाया गया १९७० में। वर्तमान समय में PAU में 31 डिपार्टमेंट्स हैं जो 31 मास्टर्स और 30 पीएचडी डिग्री प्रधान करती हैं। The PAU has well equipped laboratories, library and lecture rooms and elaborate farm facilities. Hostel accommodation is available in the university hostels for single students.
