शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualifications): B.Sc, M.Sc

Applications from the eligible candidates in the discipline of Entomology / Pathology are invited for one position of अनुसंधान सहायक @ Rs. 25,000/- p.m. (fixed) for M.Sc and Rs. 30,000/- p.m. (fixed) for Ph.D provided in the scheme, “Facilitating Effective Functioning at PAU, Misc-8 (PC-4715)” on plain paper along with the details of qualifications, अनुभव, other relevant information and demand draft for Rs. 200/- in favour of the Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana.

3. वेतन: Rs. 25,000/- p.m. (fixed) for M.Sc and Rs. 30,000/- p.m. (fixed)

4. Essential Qualification:-

a) B.Sc. (Agriculture) / B.Sc. (Horticulture) / B.Sc. (Forestry) / B.Sc. (Medical) / B.Sc. (Hons.) at least 60% marks at Bachelor’s level.

b) Master’s degree in Entomology (minor Plant Pathology, Zoology, Micro Biology) / Pathology (minor Entomology, Microbiology) / Zoology (minor Entomology) / Biotechnology (minor Entomology) at least 65% marks or OCPA of 6.50 out of 10.00 at Master’s level.

c) Matric level certificate of Punjabi language from Punjab School Education Board or any other recognized Board (as first or second language). (If not, the candidate is required to pass the same within one year of appointment).

d) अनुभव of minimum 01 year related to the field of Bio control work.

5. The post is purely temporary and initially awarded for a period of six months which may be extended for a further period of six months at a time.

चयन प्रकिया: अभ्यर्थी का चयन लिखित परीक्षा एवं साक्षात्कार में उनके प्रदर्शन के आधार पर किया जाएगा।

The last date for the receipt of the application duly complete in all respects should reach in this office on 06.05.2022. The complete application unsupported by the requisite documents will not be entertained. The candidates should appear for interview on 12.05.2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the office of the Director of Research, PAU, Ludhiana and no separate information for interview will be sent. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

पंजाब कृषि विश्वविद्यालय (Punjab Agricultural University – PAU) की स्थापना 1962 में की गयी थी। 1966 में हरयाणा बनाने के बाद, इस यूनिवर्सिटी के विभाजन होकर हरयाणा कृषि विश्वविद्यालय और हिमाचल प्रदेश कृषि विश्वविद्यालय बनाया गया १९७० में। वर्तमान समय में PAU में 31 डिपार्टमेंट्स हैं जो 31 मास्टर्स और 30 पीएचडी डिग्री प्रधान करती हैं। The PAU has well equipped laboratories, library and lecture rooms and elaborate farm facilities. Hostel accommodation is available in the university hostels for single students.
