One post of उप निदेशक (O.L.) in the Pay Level-11 (Rs. 67,700- 2,08,700/-) is vacant in भारतीय खान ब्यूरो (आईबीएम) under the Ministry of Mines and is to be filled up by Deputation/Promotion basis.

3. Pay scale: Pay Level-11 (Rs. 67,700- 2,08,700/-)

4. As per the भर्ती Rules for the post of उप निदेशक (O.L.), the candidate to be considered for appointment by Deputation/Promotion from the officers of the Central or State Government or Union Territories Administration:-

(a) (i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or

(ii) with five years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in Level -10 (Rs. 56100-177500) in the pay matrix and

(b) possessing the following educational qualifications and अनुभव

i) Master's degree of a recognised University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; OR Master's degree of a recognised University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; OR Master's degree of a recognised University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; OR

ii) Master's degree of a recognised University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or ass a medium of an examination at the degree level; OR Master's degree of a recognised University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level;

iii) Five years' अनुभव of using or applying terminology (terminological work) in Hindi and translation work from English to Hindi or vice-versa, preferably of technical or scientific literature under Central or State Governments or Autonomous Body or statutory Organisations or public sector undertakings or Universities or recognised research or educational institutions; OR

iv) Five years' अनुभव of teaching in Hindi and English or research in Hindi or English under Central or State Government or Autonomous Body or statutory Organisations or public sector undertakings or Universities or recognised research or educational institutions;

5. Desirable: Studied one of the languages other than Hindi included in the 8th schedule to the Constitution at 10h level from a recognised Board.

Application containing the bio-data (in triplicate) of the official who fulfills the above as on the closing date may be sent through proper channel addressed to The Controller of Mines (P&C), 2nd Floor, भारतीय खान ब्यूरो (आईबीएम), Indira Bhavan, Civil Lines, Nagpur -440 001 in the enclosed bio-data proforma within 60 days from the date of publication of advertisement in the Employment News alongwith the up-to-date Confidential Reports/Dossiers for the preceding 5 years, Integrity Certificate, Vigilance Clearance and No penalty certificate for preceding 10 years of the official concerned. Applications received after the closing date will not be entertained. Also, advance copies of applications or not accompanied with all the above certificates/enclosures are liable to be rejected.

भारतीय खान ब्‍यूरो की स्‍थापना 1 मार्च 1948 को हुई थी । प्रारंभ में भारतीय खान ब्‍यूरो शुद्ध रूप से एक परामर्शी निकाय के रूप में कार्य करता था । 1950 में भारतीय खान ब्‍यूरो को कार्य किए गए तथा इसके अनुसार खानों का निरीक्षण् एवं खनिज संभावनाएं इसके नियमित क्रियाकलाप में शामिल हो गए । 1953 तक भारतीय खान ब्‍यूरो को खनिज निक्षेपों के विस्‍तृत गवेषण का अतिरिक्‍त कार्य सौंप दिया गया । लोह अयस्‍क, चूनापत्‍थर, डोलोमाइट, कोयला, ताम्र, टंगस्‍टन भारतीय खान ब्‍यूरो द्वारा गवेषित खनिज थे ।
