Skills / Eligibility

Applications are invited from the eligible officials for filling up 05 (five) posts of सहायक निदेशक(S& R) Pay Band-3 Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade pay of Rs. 5400 (Pre- revised) in Storage and Research Division, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Department of Food and Public Distribution, Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi by transfer on deputation including (short term contract) basis.

1. Name of the post : सहायक निदेशक

2. Number of posts : 05 (five)

3. Classification of post : Group 'A' Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post

4. Pay Scale: Level-10 of the Pay Matrix

5. Eligibility conditions for appointment on deputation (including short-term contract) basis: Officers of Central Government or State Governments or Union Territory or Autonomous bodies or Public Sector Undertakings or Statutory Organizations or Universities or Semi-Government Organisations:-

a) (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis; or

(ii) with two years regular service in posts in the Pay Band -2(Rs. 9300- 34800/-), Grade Pay of Rs.4800/-•, and

(iii) with three years regular service in posts in the Pay Band -2(Rs. 9300- 34800/-), Grade Pay of Rs.4600/-; and

(iv) with eight years regular service in posts in the Pay Band -2(Rs. 9300- 34800/-), Grade Pay of Rs.4200/-; and

b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and अनुभव: Essential:

(i) Master's Degree in Entomology or Plant Pathology or Bio-Chemistry from a recognised University; or Master's Degree in Agriculture with specialization in Entomology or Plant Pathology or Bio-Chemistry from a recognised University; or Master's Degree in Zoology or Botany or Chemistry from a recognised University; and

(ii) Five years' अनुभव in teaching or research or extension Work, including aspects related to storage and preservation of foodgrains.

6. Duties of सहायक निदेशक (S&R): The duties of the सहायक निदेशकs (S&R) are inspections of Food Storage Depots, Procurement Centres, Railhead, Fair Price Shops and Rice Mills. He/She initiates spadework concerning complaints from concerned State Governments, rice millers and consumers, settles disputes between the State Governments and Food Corporation of India at the time of taking delivery of food grains stocks from FSDs and supervises the work of Technical Officers (S&R).

7. Place of posting: The place of posting will be S&R Division, Department of Food And Public Distribution but liable to be posted anywhere in India. (At present the post of ADS are vacant at QCCS of Delhi, Bhopal, Bhuwaneswar, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Lucknow & IGMRIs of I-lapur, Hyderabad, Ludhiana)

चयन प्रकिया: अभ्यर्थी का चयन लिखित परीक्षा एवं साक्षात्कार में उनके प्रदर्शन के आधार पर किया जाएगा।

1. Applications of suitable and eligible officers and who can be spared immediately in the event of selection may be sent directly to the Under Secretary (SRA), Department of Food & Public Distribution, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, (Room No. 291), Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi - 110 001 within a period of 45 days from the date of publication of this advertisement in the Employment News.

2. Applications of only such officers/ candidates will be considered as are routed through proper channel and are accompanied by:-

(i) Bio-data Certification part to be filled up and countersigned by the Employer/ Cadre Controlling Authority. Each page of the Bio-Data and all supporting documents to be attested by an officer not below the rank of Under Secretary.

(ii) Photocopies of APARs for the last five (5) years duly attested on each page by an officer not below the rank of Under Secretary.

इसमें न्यूनतम समर्थन मूल्य तंत्र के माध्यम से किसानों को उनके उत्पाद के उचित मूल्य द्वारा प्रोत्साहन देने, गरीबी रेखा से नीचे रहने वाले परिवारों को खाद्यान्नों का वितरण करने एवं अंत्योदय अन्न योजना के अंतर्गत भुखमरी में जी रहे परिवारों को कवर करने, खाद्यान्न की कमी वाले क्षेत्रों में अनाज बैंक स्थापित करने और सार्वजनिक वितरण प्रणाली में पंचायती राज संस्थाओं को शामिल करने पर ध्यान केन्द्रित किया गया है।
