Skills / Eligibility

Central Railway invites ONLINE applications from the following for filling up Two (02) posts in level 2 and Ten (10) posts (i.e. 02 posts each for Mumbai, Bhusawal, Nagpur, Pune and Solapur Division) in level 1 against Scouts and Guides Quota for the year 2021-22 over Central Railway. The posts are open to all regardless of Community and there is no reservation for any community.

3. Minimum Educational Qualification: Passed 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate. 50% marks are not to be insisted upon in case of SC / ST / Ex-servicemen OR Passed Matriculation plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship OR Passed Matriculation plus ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT. Note: Diploma in Engineering will not be considered as an alternative higher qualification.

i. 10th pass OR ITI OR equivalent OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT OR 10th pass plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT OR 10th pass plus ITI

Railway Recruitment Cell, East Central Railway is an organization created after issue of letter no. E(NG)II/96/RR-1/62 dated 18.07.2005 by Ministry of Railways (Railway Board), New Delhi. The letter delegates powers to General Managers of Indian Railways for open market recruitments in Pay Band 1 + Grade Pay 1800/- (erstwhile Group ‘D’ posts). Railway Recruitment Cell, East Central Railway performs the task of such recruitment on behalf of the General Manager, East Central Railway.

Railway Recruitment Cell, East Central Railway is headed by Chairman who is assisted by one Assistant Personnel Officer (RRC) and 19 non-gazetted staff.

The Cell caters to fill up open market vacancies (in Pay Band 1 + Grade Pay1800/-) of Dhanbad, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay, Danapur, Sonpur and Samastipur Divisions of East Central Railway, Workshop/Samastipur and Plant Depot/Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay of East Central Railway as well as extra divisional units in the territorial jurisdictions of East Central Railway.
