Skills / Eligibility

In terms of Railway Board's letter No. dated 19/01/2022 the scheme for engagement of CMPs is extended up to 30.06.2022. Online recorded WhatsApp call interviews will be held to engage the CMPs from open market on full time contract basis who fulfill the eligibility criteria specified below up to 30.06.2022 or till the pandemic of Covid-19 continues whichever is earlier with the same terms as contained in Board's letters cited above. It may please be noted that this is purely a temporary measure, after which status quo ante will be restored.

1. Post Name : Medical Practioners (Doctors)

2. Remuneration :

a) CMP Rs. 75000/- per month

b) Retired Railway Doctors Rs. 75000/- per month

3. Educational/Professionl Qualifications:

a) Degree in Medicine i.e. MBBS (recognized by the Medical Council of India, included in the first or second schedule or part eleven, of the third schedule (other than the Licentiate qualifications to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956). Holders of educational qualifications in part II of the third schedule should also fulfil the condition stipulated in Section 13 (3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

b) Candidates should have satisfactorily completed the compulsory Rotatory Internship.

4. For Specialist : Degree in medicine i.e. MBBS recognised by the Medical Council of India. A Post Graduate Qualification in the relevant subject/ field recognized by the Medical Council of India. 3 years अनुभव in Clinical work after Post Graduation in the speciality concerned as on the date of interview is desirable.

5. Period of Contract:- The above mentioned engagement is purely a temporary measure up to 30.06.2022 or till the pandemic of Covid-19 continues whichever is earlier.

The letter delegates powers to General Managers of Indian Railways for open market recruitments in Pay Band 1 + Grade Pay 1800/- (erstwhile Group ‘D’ posts). Railway Recruitment Cell, East Central Railway performs the task of such recruitment on behalf of the General Manager, East Central Railway.

Railway Recruitment Cell, East Central Railway is headed by Chairman who is assisted by one Assistant Personnel Officer (RRC) and 19 non-gazetted staff.

The Cell caters to fill up open market vacancies (in Pay Band 1 + Grade Pay1800/-) of Dhanbad, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay, Danapur, Sonpur and Samastipur Divisions of East Central Railway, Workshop/Samastipur and Plant Depot/Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay of East Central Railway as well as extra divisional units in the territorial jurisdictions of East Central Railway.
